POSITION OVERVIEW
The Communications Assistant, Asia Pacific, reports to the Business Communications Manager, Asia Pacific, and has regional responsibility for executing internal and external communications to strengthen the company brand and increase demand for the company’s products and services in the assigned region.
The position coordinates all elements of regional internal and external communications, including production of internal communications, presentations and videos, company meetings and events, tradeshows, social media and the development and production of promotional materials. The position is responsible for leading and enforcing the company's branding guidelines in the region.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Internal Communications, Meetings and Events.
? Cooperate with cross-functional, regional colleagues and business leaders to develop, produce and distribute a wide range of internal business communications, initiatives and programs.
? Contribute content for assigned communications channels, including announcements, intranet content, company newsletter, employee video messages, executive presentations, company meetings and special events.
? Responsibilities include coordinating the work of creative agencies and communications vendors and contractors, such as translators, photographers, A/V teams, etc.
? Cooperate with business team and sourcing team to deliver promotional items.
Brand Management
? Communicate and enforce consistent use of corporate and product/market brand identity standards.
? Coordinate with regional businesses to develop marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Tradeshow Management
? As assigned, coordinate the company's participation in regional trade shows, media events and other, externally-focused company events.
? Coordinate events from initial invitation process to post-event follow-up with participants.
? Measure event outcomes and report key findings to supervisor.
Content Management
? Assist with distribution of annual key messages and help ensure adoption in the region.
? Participate in content creation for marketing materials, web pages, presentations and other external communications materials as assigned.
? Support online communications by helping to develop web and social media content.
